Kate's Plates has been feeding my husband and me for over two years (maybe more) and we couldn't be happier with the selection, quality of ingredients and friendliness/helpfulness of staff. We really enjoyed the meals from Kate's Plate. Here is how our delivery went: Delivery occurred at about 1pm on Monday. The driver placed them in the best spot to keep any rain/snow off of the boxes. Everything was packaged nicely and had plenty of ice packs to keep it cold on any days that we might not be home at the time of delivery. I was home and put the food right in the refrigerator after looking through everything to make sure we weren't missing anything. The boxes were 100% correct and complete. Sweet Potato and Black Bean Enchiladas This meal was absolutely delicious. We made this meal 6 days after delivery and the food was still fresh. We felt it took a moderate amount of effort to prepare but since it tasted like we ate at a nice, Mexican restaurant, it was worth it. The raw tortillas that you heat up in a pan are a game-changer. They were amazing. Date Night Rigatoni This meal was AMAZING! It was our favorite for sure of what we ordered. We felt like we were eating at an expensive restaurant. I would change nothing about it. We rate it a 5 out of 5. It was very fresh even though we prepared it 5 days after we received the meal. The portion was just right and we felt it took a moderate amount of effort to prepare. Mini Meatloaf & Mashed Cauliflower This meal was pretty good (not as good as the enchiladas or rigatoni) but what made it amazing was how simple it was to prepare. We are pretty busy some nights and this one is perfect for those super busy nights where all you have time for is throwing something in the oven and microwave. We prepared it 2 days after receiving it and it was a 10 out of 10 for freshness. We will definitely be ordering again from Kate's Plate. The meals really helped our busy lifestyle this week by providing us amazing food that took so much less effort and time on our part. We were able to spend more time getting caught up on other things but still had healthy, delicious meals.
This is REAL food, prepared FRESH, and sourced LOCALLY. You cannot get this kind of service, experience or authenticity from the big brand competitors that are mailing you meals. Kate's Plate meals are so flavorful and convenient that I don't recall how we survived previously. My wife swears by Kate's Plate, and it's awesome to know after a busy day that we can come home and feed our family a meal that is going to be both delicious and healthy without having to figure out all the fuss of "what's for dinner". PS - the buffalo sauce is out of this world good.
Healthy and delicious. I have tried many meal plans and Kate's Plate provides a wonderful prepped dinner that comes together easily with all the hard work done. Everything I have tried has been delicious and nutritious and my family has agreed. They also recycle the boxes, cooler bags and ice blocks for you--this makes me feel so much better about using a meal prep service, environmentally speaking.
I want to give a shout-out to Illiana and Kathy. These ladies are the best and most helpful. I've been with Kate's Plate for 2-3 months, and I have not had a meal I didn't like. My dad, who is hard to please when it comes to food, loved the meals I gifted them. The meals are clean, healthy, easy to put together, and quick. I have tried a lot of other meal services and this one is the best by far!
